The Marlborough is located in the centre of New Zealand at the top of the South Island.

With direct flights from Auckland (1.5hrs) or Wellington (20 mins) to Blenheim our closest airport, just 10 mins drive away provides easy access. Alternatively fly into Christchurch and drive up the scenic east coast of the South Island (4.5hrs) or take the Coastal Pacific Train.  The property is just 20 mins from Picton which is the port for the inter island ferries to Wellington on the bottom on the North Island.

Marlborough, at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, is accessible with direct flights from Auckland and Wellington to Blenheim Airport or Queenstown, Christchurch with connections through Wellington. Being a natural half way point in an itinerary through both islands The Marlborough is an ideal location to stop and relax on your travels

The Marlborough is located in the beautiful Marlborough region – famous for its world-class Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot Noir as well as its many other varietals. Having the most sunshine hrs in New Zealand, good soil and rainfall provides Marlborough with the ideal growing conditions.  This area is NZ's largest growing region producing 75% of all of NZs wine.  So much to explore and enjoy. 

 

It also has the stunning Marlborough Sounds just 25 mins drive away, with its beautiful non connecting sounds, Queen Charlotte, Kenepuru & Pelorus offering a 70klm hiking trail and a vast array of  hidden coves and secret inlets to explore by boat or kayak with bush running down to the waters edge and a abundance of marine and bird life and virtually no one else to be seen this pristine area is a must visit.

Located at 776 Rapaura Road, The Marlborough is just 5 minutes drive from State Highway 1 to Christchurch (4.5hrs drive) and State Highway 6 to Nelson (1.5hrs drive).

10 mins from Blenheim Airport and 15 mins to Blenheim train station.
